Casa Makai is a sanctuary; a tasteful villa set in 4 private acres of lush tropical gardens, centered in the crescent of
Winding Bay. The property offers 225' of spectacular private beach frontage made up of baby soft pink and white sand
and crystal clear turquoise waters.
The property location offers spectacular views of all of Winding Bay and the surging Atlantic beyond the protective reef.
The open floor plan of the home is ideal for coastal living and entertaining. The great room with it's open ceiling, full sliding
glass walls on both the garden and ocean side open up to create a sense of being with nature. The expansive patio
overlooks the extensively landscaped garden while the deck provides wonderful views of Winding Bay.
The villa with it's two bedroom suites and bedroom / den (4 full bathrooms and 3 outdoor showers) comfortably sleeps six
adults in two queen and one king beds. The master bedroom suite and den offer spectacular views of the ocean while
the garden suite offers the privacy of the tropical garden.
Our property manager, Erica and our full time gardener will provide superb service to ensure that your visit to Casa Makai
is memorable.
Our property manager, Erica, will be on the property daily for 4 hours ( 9am - 1pm) to take care of your needs including:
complimentary transfer to / from Rock Sound or Governors Harbor Airports. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres and drinks upon
arrival. Domestic management: Clean house, dishes, make beds, do laundry, ironing etc.
Home includes full set of kitchen appliances, cookware, dishes, utensils, sheets, blanket, towels etc. Property and beach
maintenance ensures that beach will be cleaned every day in the morning. Erica will also make seperate arrangements for
vehicle rental and fishing (deep sea or bone) or diving trips. Erica is available to prepare an evening Bahamian meal under
a separate arrangement.
Other Comforts: bone fishing a short walk down the beach, cabana on the beach for shade, hammock under the swaying
palms, beach table and benches, 4 lounge chairs, beach towels, snorkel, mask, 2 sets of fins, 2 kayaks with gloves and
life jackets, beach volleyball set, extensive collection of books, board games, TV and CD player.
