Veranda View Inn is located 7 miles from Melville Hall airport on the north coast of Dominica. The north coast is the only area of Dominica that offers
secluded white-sand beaches and lush rain forests with river bathing in water pure enough to drink. The Inn is located on the edge of Calibishie Village
and is in the same area as all the restaurants and shopping.
The new seaside coffee shop and bar are open 8am for breakfast. There is a full bar where sandwiches, snacks, homemade desserts and speciality coffee
are served. Picnic Lunches can be ordered for days outings.
Veranda View Inn consists of three large cool bedrooms with private baths with hot water. Two rooms share a fourty-foot veranda overlooking the Guadeloupe
Channel. The third room has a private courtyard and entrance. The beach is only thirty feet from the rooms. Within walking distance there are two rivers and
four nice beaches with safe swimming.
Rates include linens, and maid service if desired. Laundry is available for a small fee. Breakfast can be purchased in the coffee shop. Juice and tropical fruits
in season. Hot bread most mornings!
Veranda View Inn is near many attractions such as the Carib Indian Territory, Emerald Pool, Cabrits and Indian River. Buses can be caught in front of the gate
and local taxi and tours are available. We have hiking guides for forest hikes also. E-mail is available for those wanting to keep in touch with family and friends.
