If you love panoramic ocean and mountain views you"ll love Villa Vista del Mar! It is a 5 bedroom spanish style
oceanside villa perched on a small hill at beautiful Playa Cofresi, an area rapidly becoming known as the jewel
of the north coast of the Dominican Republic.
Three ocean front porches have rockers for relaxing and tables for dining. The spacious walled terrace has plenty
of chaise lounges for peaceful, private sunbathing. The large l-shaped pool has a shallow end with wide sitting
steps to enjoy with the children, and a deep end with built-in bench for the swimmers.
Best of all, this lovely ambiance comes complete with a full time maid who cleans, does your laundry, cooks and serves
your meals, and then whisks away those dirty dishes while you sit and enjoy those wonderful views. There is no
additional charge for your full time maid. Her services are covered by our very modest rates. For larger groups, we
provide a second full time maid at no cost to you. With an excellent cook, we can provide dozens of ideas for dishes
that our guests have enjoyed. Eating is so enjoyable, not only because someone else is doing the cooking, but because
all of the produce is so delicious. Unlike other destinations where you can't eat any fresh fruit or uncooked vegetables,
you can eat all the delicious Dominican produce because it is grown naturally in rich, nutritious soil.
We have an on-site manager who shows you through the villa and makes sure that all goes smoothly during your visit.
His wife will provide information about local tours and book them for you. Our houseman can provide airport pickup with
his Toyota van for the same price that regular taxis charge. You can also rent his van at a price that is lower than
commercial car rentals.
The villa rates include all linens and household furnishings. You just bring your casual clothes and buy whatever
food and drinks you will consume. There is a lot to see and do in our area. Horseback riding along the mountain trails
is quite popular. The horses can be brought right to our villa and the cost is only about $10 / hour.
The beach is quite lovely, if you can tear yourself away from the pool. You'll walk about 250 yards down our dirt road
to get to our crescent shaped beach. It is lined with palm and sea grape trees providing a choice of sun or shade.
The ocean is calm and gentle. No rip tides, undertows, jelly fish... just gorgeous gentle waves in that caribbean blue
color. Cooling ocean breezes keep you comfortable.
There are a number of wonderful restaurants nearby, with very good menus that are reasonably priced. For example,
you can enjoy a nice meal, with drinks and tips for about $10 - $15, while dining in a thatched roof restaurant overlooking
our beach. There are golf courses and casinos nearby. This is just a glimpse of the many things to see and do.
Fully equipped home including ceiling fans, cable TV, VCR, radio, CD player, phone, microwave, and washer.
For inside enjoyment, you will find books, cards, adult and kids games, and kids toys. There is also an on-site-
concierge, a cook, and household staff.
For outside there are beach towels, beach chairs, rockers, chaise lounges, rafts, binoculars, an outdoor shower
/ dressing room, a patio, 2 porches, a swimming pool, exceptional sunrises and views.
