Mayorine Cottage is a 130 year-old traditional West Indian cottage at 600' above sea level in the Morningstar area of Nevis. The cottage has been
restored and updated by the owners who are both artists. The fenced property is accented by mango, sour orange and coconut palms. Shade is
plentiful under the mature sandbox and ginnip trees. Behind Mayorine cottage, Mount Nevis rises to 3100'.
On the spacious porch, the hammock beckons or you can enjoy a sunset view of the ocean. Inside the open plan kitchen and living area is decorated
with a West Indian flair for bright colors. Both main bedrooms are spacious and airy and a loft-type room is great for kids.
Mayorine Cottage is located in an area of Nevis well loved for the soft warm breezes and spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and Monserrat. The
closest beach is a five-minute drive. All beaches on Nevis are accessible as you can drive around the entire island in forty-five minutes!
There are two main bedrooms (one double and one queen) and a loft-type room with two twin beds - great for kids. Lines, towels, beach towels and beach
chairs included. Kitchen includes a gas stove and oven, refrigerator / freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and blender, washing machine, iron, telephone
and answering machine, portable fans, surge protectors on most outlets, CD player / radio, child's portable Graco playpen / bed (including netting), toddler
Aero bed, canopy style mosquito nets for all beds, and screens on all windows.
Nearby Services include restaurants, grocery stores, hotels and inns. Guests of Mayorine Cottage may use the pool at Golden Rock Hotel, beach and water
sports, diving and snorkeling, golfing, tennis, horseback riding, hiking in rain forest and sightseeing.
