the exclusive gated community of Peter Bay within the boundaries of the Virgin Islands National Park. Villa LaSusa offers a
magnificent ocean panorama, overlooking the sparkling turquoise waters of Cinnamon and Francis Bay with a backdrop of
Tortola, BVI.
To the North, Villa La Susa provides vistas of Sir Francis Drake Channel and Jost Van Dyke. Only steps away guests can
enjoy the beautiful palm and sea grape lined, white sand beach of Peter Bay. On a limited basis, a one bedroom cottage
may be included with the rental of the main house, providing a 6th bedroom / 8th bath and complete living facilities.
The cottage features a large patio, living room, and kitchen upstairs and the bedroom and bath downstairs. Villa LaSusa is
designed for adult enjoyment. Strict adult supervision of any children will be expected and mandatory at all times. Winter
2001-2002 begins the rental season for Villa LaSusa.
For the introductory season only, the owners have elected to offer Villa LaSusa at below market rates. Given the excellence
of the amenities and the inherent value of the property, Villa LaSusa will book quickly. Villa LaSusa is perfect for
honeymooners and couples desiring a romantic idyllic getaway or for reuniting with old friends and family members. Villa

For guests desiring the ultimate in ambiance, Villa LaSusa defines the upscale St. John island experience Mahogany arched
windows and screened French doors provide generous light and breezes throughout and fabulous views of the lush, tropical
gardens and the shimmering ocean. Polished Puerto Rican coral stone floors and stately Tuscan columns line the spacious
Temple of the Winds veranda which wraps around the magnificent swimming pool, waterfalls, and inviting native stone bar
area.
The grounds include significant formal lawn and terraced stone garden areas framed by balustrades as well as expansive
patios for sun worshippers and outdoor entertaining. A large tiled spa with waterfall adjoins the lushly landscaped pool area.
The outdoor spaces are designed to maximize the best of St. John island lifestyle, providing the ambiance for easy relaxation
and reflection.

throughout the spacious 5 bedroom, 7 bath, 7,000 sq.ft. estate. Access into the private professionally landscaped grounds is
through an electronically controlled wrought iron entry gate leading down the impressive palm lined driveway to the two story
native stone entry. A magical experience awaits.
The spaciousness of the deluxe villa affords intimacy and privacy as well as multiple spaces for entertaining. Villa LaSusa
was designed as a private home, a "Caribbean dream house" by the owners and architect Michael Oxman to reflect their
eclectic lifestyle, varied interests, and love of entertaining. The owners personally selected every material and furnishing from
around the globe. Their vision and artistry grace every facet of Villa LaSusa.
The craftsmanship in Villa LaSusa is unsurpassed in the Virgin Islands. Stateside and local artisans were commissioned to
fashion varying design elements. Around every corner is another interesting detail to admire. The first step into the inviting
foyer of Villa LaSusa offers stunning views of the formal columned great room featuring lighted niches of artwork and
expansive vistas of Cinnamon Bay.
The casually elegant but comfortable furniture invites conversation and provides the gathering place for viewing the big screen
television. The latest in electronic wizardry connects guests with the real world. An extensive video and print library is
available. Adjoining the great room is the spacious formal dining room with lighted mahogany china cabinets showcasing
china, crystal, and serving ware. The stone dining room table and mahogany carved shell design chairs seat 8 comfortably.
In addition to the formal dining room, there are two al fresco dining areas with wrought iron tables and a large barbeque grill.
The gourmet kitchen highlighted by mahogany columns overlooks the formal dining room and gives convenient access to living
and outdoor spaces. The cook or chef can easily participate in conversation with others in the dining room, while kitchen
preparation and clean-up are hidden from the view of the living/ dining areas.

delight any gourmet chef. Spacious granite countertops and a large pantry provide ample space for food preparation and
storage. Even the kitchen affords a grand ocean view! Mahogany cabinetry, artisan hand-forged wrought iron chandeliers,
custom tiled fountains and tile work, original art work, handcrafted lighting, Dolby sound system, designer furniture and
accessories are featured throughout Villa LaSusa.
Large ceiling fans assisted by North Shore tropical breezes cool the living spaces. A West Indian sugar mill native stone bar
with wrought iron chandelier and adjacent large free-form swimming pool serve as the focal point of Villa LaSusa. Cushioned
swivel wrought iron bar stools in a palm leaf motif add comfort to savoring an afternoon poolside. The bartender has
everything at hand to concoct smooth tropical drinks. The LaSusa bar complete with refrigerator, ice machine, sink and
enough refreshments to go around rivals any bar in the islands for pure style and luxury.

Artisan designed stain glass windows, jacuzzis, outdoor native stone showers, wrought iron chandeliers, and wet bars are
featured in some of the bedroom suites.
For guests who desire to integrate intellectual work and play, the study features a wrap around mahogany desk, fax machine,
mahogany cabinetry, and ample space for laptop computers and printers. But the array of French windows above the desk
beckons the gaze to the wonders of the turquoise waters beyond.
