Banana Wind Cottage is a delightful hillside home overlooking beautiful Coral Bay and the Caribbean Sea. Like many homes on St. John, Banana Wind
was built with a main level ("The Upstairs") and a separate guest apartment ("The Downstairs"). Because of this, we can offer two comfortable and carefully
appointed one-bedroom units which can be rented individually or together.
The latest addition for your enjoyment of Banana Wind Cottage is a new swimming pool. Rimmed in natural slate, the pool has a large sun deck and is a
perfect place to unwind with a book while watching the boats in the bay!
More affordable than a villa, more private than a condo, Banana Wind Cottage is located 200 yds. above the water's edge, in a lovely tropical garden. Beautiful
ocean views, cool breezes, natural slate floors, stonework, mahogany doors, and collectible furnishings create an atmosphere of gracious island living.
St. John's legendary white sand beaches and National Park hiking trails are just a short drive away. Located along the Coral Bay shoreline are several
restaurants, as well as boat and kayak rentals. Sailing, snorkeling, and horseback excursions are all available in the immediate area! , and several local
restaurants feature live music in season. Coral Bay's colorful laid-back lifestyle continues to draw visitors back year after year to 'paradise.'
Upstairs and downstairs guest will enjoy Banana Wind's new swimming pool. Each unit includes a full kitchen with gourmet cookware, microwave, blender,
and coffee maker. You'll find beach chairs, towels and coolers.
Each unit has one queen size bed, linens, towels, phone, TV, DVD or VCR, CD player,
robes, and fresh flowers. The upstairs level has a gas BBQ grill and very large roofed terrace. The downstairs also has a gas BBQ grill and two decks--one
off the living room and one off the bedroom. As on-island owner/managers, we're pleased to invite you to make Banana Wind Cottage your "home" on St. John.
